Job Descriptions
(Doha, Qatar) Looking for a Sales Manager for a 5 star luxury hotel
Responsibilities
Preparation of proposals, drafting and issuing contracts, communications, database input and filing
Preparing of month end reports and monthly forecasts
Identify new sources of residential accommodations / special events / group bookings / catering sales
Achieve minimum of sales calls and site inspections per week in accordance with the business plan
Lead generation and setting up new business sales calls / appointments
Communicate and follow through with other hotel departments to ensure that the sales commitment is being fulfilled
Obtain market intelligence and information gathering of benefit to the hotel
Comply with and ensure adherence to all of the hotel's policies and procedures
Maintain a good working relationship with all colleagues throughout the hotel and sister properties
Develop methods and initiatives to increase departmental revenue within the sales team
Communicate effectively with all other departments
Attend all meetings and / or training sessions as required
Identify opportunities to innovate service delivery and product offering to meet and exceed client expectations
