Job Title : Restaurant Manager Job Purpose To oversee and manage all daily restaurant operations, ensuring exceptional guest service, staff performance, and operational efficiency in a casual dining environment. Responsible for maintaining high standards of food quality, hygiene, team productivity, sales growth, and overall customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure smooth daily restaurant operations and guest experience
Maintain high service standards consistent with casual dining brand expectations
Monitor dining floor and kitchen performance, ensuring timely service
Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally
Staff Management & Training
Supervise, schedule, and train restaurant staff (waiters, supervisors, hostesses, etc.)
Conduct daily briefings, assign duties and monitor performance
Lead, coach, and motivate team to achieve service & sales goals
Ensure grooming standards and staff discipline
Financial & Inventory Control
Manage cash handling, billing, and daily sales reporting
Work with accounts department for proper documentation & audit requirements
Monitor food, beverage, and other inventory levels
Control waste, minimize operating costs and increase profitability
Quality & Hygiene Compliance
Ensure food safety, hygiene and sanitation standards are strictly followed
Conduct regular inspections of restaurant, kitchen and storage areas
Ensure compliance with local health, safety & municipality regulations
Guest Engagement & Brand Standards
Build strong customer relationships & encourage repeat business
Implement promotions, special events, and campaigns
Maintain restaurant ambiance, cleanliness, and brand image
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor’s degree / Diploma in Hospitality or relevant field preferred
Minimum 3–5 years of experience in casual dining / restaurant management
Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills
Knowledge of POS systems and restaurant operations software
Ability to work under pressure and handle busy operations
Good problem-solving, time-management, and team-building abilities
Food safety certification is an advantage
