JobSummary
The Insurance manager overseesprograms to minimize risks and losses that might arise fromfinancial transactions and business operations undertaken by theorganization. Directs and manages the implementation of policyadministration and ensures proper documentation of all relatedmandatory documents, policies and othertransactions.
Job Responsibilities1
Manage daily insurance requirements of allbusiness unites of the Company following the set policies andprocedures for the insurance department, following best practicesof insurance management.
Conduct riskassessment and ensure assets are insured, data are analyzed andused for continuous improvement and optimization to maximizeinsurance coverage and maintain feasible insurancecost.
Manages the implementation of theInsurance Operations (Commercial Risks) objectives, providingleadership and facilitating work processes to achieve highperformance standards.
Ensures adherence tothe guidelines and effectively managing all underwritingrequirements.
Carry out annual renewal ofinsurance policies as per defined policies, procedures, andprocesses.
Conduct daily policy administration(additions, deletions of assets or changes in risk which mayrequire an amendment of insurancecover)
Manage claims reporting and settlementswith insurance companies and lossadjusters.
Prepare and maintain loss detailsreports, loss ratio records and submit an annual analysisreport

Job Knowledge &Skills
Professional insurance certificationssuch as ACII and FCII
Solid foundationknowledge of insurance claims processing, insurance procurement andlocal markets
Understanding of thegeopolitical developments within the region anadvantage.
Knowledge of all related laws,legal codes, court procedures, precedents, government regulations,executive orders
Experience of dealing with abroad range of wider insurance markets, underwriters and claimsmanagers within insurance companies
Generalknowledge of industry products, regulations anddevelopment
ERP knowledge preferably SAPfunctional skills are a requirement to be successful in thisrole.
