QC Welding Engineer for Reputed Company in

Qatar Requirements Education : Degree in Mechanical Engineering. Experience : Minimum 8 Years IWE Certified or CSWIP 3.2.2 Preferred Candidate Profile : Experience in fabrication yards, oil & gas sites, or heavy industrial projects Hands-on involvement in both workshop and field welding applications Exposure to automated and semi-automatic welding techniques is an advantage Ability to work under pressure and manage tight deadlines Key Skills : Deep knowledge of welding codes and standards (ASME, AWS, API, ISO) Proficient in reading isometric drawings, weld maps, and material specifications Familiar with various welding processes : SMAW, GTAW, FCAW, SAW, etc. Ability to coordinate across departments and handle multiple tasks simultaneously Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills Key Responsibilities : Develop, qualify, and implement WPS (Welding Procedure Specifications) and PQRs (Procedure Qualification Records) Review project specifications, drawings, and welding codes to ensure compliance with requirements Conduct welder qualification tests and monitor welder performance Provide technical support to welders, supervisors, and QA / QC teams regarding welding techniques and challenges Select appropriate welding processes, filler materials, and techniques for different materials (CS, SS, Alloy, Duplex, etc.) Resolve welding-related issues during fabrication and installation phases Support NDT activities and coordinate with third-party inspectors and clients Maintain welding documentation, traceability records, and reports for audits Lead root cause analysis for welding defects and implement corrective actions Ensure compliance with safety procedures, quality standards, and company policies If Interested kindly share CV + Education / Experience Certificates + Passport Copy + Photo at / Whats app
