We are seeking a qualified and experienced
Welding Inspector
holding a valid
CSWIP 3.1 certification
to join our team. The Welding Inspector will be responsible for ensuring that all welding activities are carried out in compliance with project specifications, applicable codes and standards, and safety requirements. The ideal candidate will have hands-on inspection experience in the fabrication, construction, or oil & gas sectors. Responsibilities
Conduct welding inspections in accordance with CSWIP 3.1 requirements. Verify that welding procedures, welder qualifications, and materials conform to applicable standards and project specifications. Monitor and inspect welding activities on site or in fabrication shops. Review and interpret welding symbols, WPS, PQR, and WPQ documentation. Perform dimensional inspections and visual inspection of welds. Witness and verify non-destructive testing (NDT) results. Raise and follow up on non-conformance reports (NCRs) and corrective actions. Prepare detailed inspection and welding reports. Coordinate with QA / QC, site engineers, and subcontractors to ensure quality compliance. Ensure safety and quality standards are strictly followed during all welding operations. Assist in audits and client inspections as needed.
