Responsibilities include second line oversight and leading Product Risk Governance activities, engaging business units to identify and assess risks in the product and to validate controls throughout the product life cycle.

• To provide second line oversight and lead the implementation of Product Risk Governance, including preparing related processes and procedures, engaging business units in the identification and assessment of risks in the product, assessment of controls in place to mitigate those product related risks. This ensures that risks related to operational, compliance, legal, fraud, information security, outsourcing, accounting and reconciliation are effectively identified, challenged and managed before product approval and throughout the product life cycle.
• Lead the first line stakeholders on the product risk process, documentation, and their responsibilities in the risk governance framework across the Bank and managing key stakeholders involved in the product.

Key Accountabilities

Direct responsibilities to ensure adherence to the Bank’s Product Risk Governance Framework and end-to-end product risk assessment processes.

Other Accountabilities

Additional duties including developing positive and productive working relationships with business units and promoting knowledge sharing; assisting with internal ad-hoc requests; responding to audit requests or any initiative or request related to Non-Financial Risk department; and preparing reports / presentations to Head of Non-Financial Risk / committees and senior management.

Education

Bachelor degree in Banking / Business or equivalent
