Our client is looking to recruit an Associate Director – Development Communications (Delivery) to support the development of communications strategy that promotes our clients’ projects and credibly positions its City‑wide development.
He / she will take ownership of developing and delivering communications plans for a set of districts and / or assets at City level. You will be responsible for managing narrative and messaging, creating engaging copy—both long and short form—across multiple channels, and bringing the journey of developing and delivering our clients’ mega City project to life for key audiences.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive communication plan for an assigned set of districts or assets, aligned with the company’s business goals, growth objectives and overarching communications strategy.
- Work closely with development, delivery and contractor teams across their assigned districts / assets to understand project progress, upcoming milestones and delivery methods to drive communication strategy. Identify communication opportunities and support the internal and external communication of key milestones / updates.
- Support preparation, coordination, review and management of internal communications including newsletters, ad‑hoc communications, reports and other communications to program leadership and the broader project teams.
- Lead creative copywriting and content creation that informs and engages internal and external audiences through supporting media relations activities.
- Champion and reinforce our clients’ brand, ensuring it is consistently applied across all communications in line with branding and style guidelines.
- Engage with key internal and external stakeholders—including development, corporate marketing and district / asset owners—to ensure objectives align. Responsible for stakeholder engagement within the project team, internal and external partners, suppliers and stakeholders.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Business Administration, or a relevant related field.Minimum of 8+ years’ experience in corporate communications, public relations or stakeholder engagement, preferably in the construction or infrastructure sectors.Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.Proficiency in using a range of communication platforms, tools and methods to deliver impactful messaging and measure its effectiveness.Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and work in a fast‑paced environment.Prior experience working in a similar role on a construction program or within a corporate, government department or agency is preferred.#J-18808-Ljbffr
