Relevant and progressive work experience in Accounting or Finance

Excellent supervisory experience

Full understanding of financial operating systems and procedures

Excellent analytical skills

Fluent in English

Bachelors degree from an academic institution in a related field such as Economics Finance Accounting or Commerce.

It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions :

Previous experience with the Hilton systems

Previous experience in the Account / Finance Management

EOE / AA / Disabled / Veterans An Assistant Director of Finance is responsible for assisting in the management and administration of all financial operations within the hotel. This role plays a key part in ensuring the hotel delivers exceptional guest service while maintaining financial profitability.

What will I be doing As Assistant Director of Finance you will ensure the accuracy of stocks accounts payable prepayments and creditor / accruals accounting records and provide periodic reports to the Finance department. Specifically you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards :

Supporting the Director of Finance in overseeing financial activities contributing to financial planning and reporting and ensuring compliance with financial policies and standards

Assisting with accurate forecasting budgeting and financial statement preparation

Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and internal controls

Supporting capital reviews as required by hotel management

Training and developing the Finance team and fostering succession planning

Promoting financial awareness among local management

Reviewing account reconciliations and ensuring accurate monthend financial records

Analyzing performance against budgets identifying cost‑saving opportunities and managing finance projects

Overseeing payroll capital expenditures inventory and fixed asset management

Ensuring compliance with health safety and regulatory requirements
