- Contract Duration : 1st January 2026 – 30th September 2027
- Work Location : Doha
- Work Schedule : 8-10 hours per day from Sunday to Thursday
Minimum Requirements
Qualification : Degree in Economics or EquivalentMinimum 15 years’ experience in similar activities for oil & gas projectsAdvanced knowledge and experience in use of relevant computer systems (SAP, PALM system, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Power BI)EPC contractors’ mechanismsGood to have experience with Total Energy / North oil companyTo promote & comply with applicable safety instruction and other Company H'SE procedures in all activitiesTo carry out work in compliance with Company values and policies, relevant laws, regulations, and good industry practicesTo treat all information obtained during the course of work with confidentialityThe Cost Controller may have to travel to such places, especially during the initial setup of the cost system with ContractorBudget
To prepare for review dedicated LOP and LRBP data for the projectTo prepare for review the detailed annual budget and updates in line with various internal entities and in agreement with the client budget standard format provided by financeClosure
To prepare the monthly closure and ensure accruals done by the package cost controllers in PALM system are in accordance with the current package and overall project progressCost Reporting
To issue a detailed internal and external monthly cost report (trends, areas of concern, budget variance analysis)To ensure correct and auditable records of all matters with project expenditures, contracts, budgets, cash flows, forecasts, etc.To monitor invoice processing, liaising with client accounting department to enable timely payment of invoicesOrganization
To coordinate and standardize EPC cost controller activities across the multiple packages and locations of the projectTo develop, communicate and implement procedures to ensure efficient organization and operation of the project budget and cost control activitiesTo advise, during project setup post award, contractors on key commercial requirements (invoicing format and submission, cost reporting, etc.)To anticipate additional requirement for cost control support during execution of the project(s)General
To promote cost consciousness within the entityTo ensure confidentiality is being kept as per sensitive dataTo liaise with internal and external auditors for cost justificationTo prepare the required cost recovery related documentation processing and payment, accruals, payment claims and disputesTo prepare commercial close out of each contract and archive all financial documentation as per client’s guidelinesDiversity and Inclusion
