Mandarin Oriental, Doha is seeking a Hygiene & Security Coordinator to join our team. You will oversee cleanliness and sanitation to ensure a safe and healthy environment, implementing food safety & hygiene standards and addressing issues promptly. The role reports to the Assistant Director of Hygiene.
About the Job
Based at Mandarin Oriental, Doha within the Admin & General Department, you will support the Assistant Director of Hygiene in developing and enforcing hygiene policies and procedures, conducting inspections, maintaining HACCP / ISO standards, and ensuring compliance with Food Safety & Hygiene regulations across all F&B areas.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Assistant Director of Hygiene in developing and implementing hygiene policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with Food Safety & Hygiene standards in all F&B areas and report findings.
- Keep abreast of industry trends and regulatory changes related to hygiene and sanitation.
- Assist the Assistant Director with handling Food Safety & Hygiene matters hotel‑wide.
- Maintain HACCP / ISO, Food Safety related standards.
- Ensure food handlers adhere to good food and personal hygiene practices.
- Conduct internal Food Hygiene Audits in all Food & Beverage areas and report findings.
- Develop, implement, review and update food safety management system procedures in accordance with local regulations and international standards.
Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of experience working in a 5‑star hotel environment.Thorough knowledge of Food Safety standards and regulations locally and internationally.International work experience in at least two of the following regions : Asia and Middle East.Ability to work long & flexible hours with a strong focus on hygiene operations.Our Commitment to You
