Summary The Consultant in Multiple Sclerosis and Neuroimmunology provides expert clinical care and management for patients with MS and related neuroinflammatory and autoimmune disorders. This role involves diagnosing complex cases, monitoring disease progression, and prescribing advanced disease-modifying therapies. The consultant collaborates closely with multidisciplinary teams, including rehabilitation, neuro-ophthalmology, and neuroradiology specialists, to deliver comprehensive patient-centered care.
Education / Qualifications Required :
Basic medical degree from recognized institution
Post-qualification certification
Qualification Source from : North America, Western Europe, Australia or New Zealand.
USA :
American Board of Medicine (ABM)
Canada :
Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (RCPSC)
UK & Ireland :
CCT in Orthopedic Medicine and GMC Specialist Register
Australia & New Zealand :
Fellowship from the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (RACP)
Western Europe :
Equivalent board certification
Experience Post-Qualifications :
Minimum
(5) years
of experience as a Consultant in Neurology
License :
Current and in a Good Standing Medical License to practice in country of residence.
Job Responsibilities / Duties :
Diagnose and manage MS and other neuroimmunological diseases.
Monitor and adjust treatment plans using current therapies.
Lead and participate in multidisciplinary clinical teams.
Engage in clinical research and support clinical trials.
