Responsibilities
- Proactively supports the Sous Chef in providing leadership and management of the bakery and pastry operations.
- Ensures the consistent production of high-quality breads, viennoiseries, cakes, and pastries, meeting Four Seasons’ standards of excellence.
- Develops and tests new bakery items in collaboration with the culinary team, bringing creativity and innovation to the menu.
- Maintains strict adherence to hygiene, food safety, and presentation standards within the bakery section.
- Manages inventory, ordering, and cost control for bakery and pastry ingredients, ensuring efficiency and minimal waste.
- Trains, motivates, and mentors bakery team members, fostering a culture of passion and craftsmanship.
- Contributes to banquet operations with creative dessert and bakery presentations that elevate the guest experience.
Preferred Qualifications and Skills
