Overview
The Director of Marketing Communication provides strategic leadership for Snoonu’s brand reputation, voice, and visibility across external channels. This senior role is accountable for defining and executing a world-class communication agenda that strengthens Snoonu’s position as Qatar’s leading super app and a regional technology innovator. As a member of the Marketing leadership team, the Director oversees PR, corporate communications, social media, influencer strategy, and creative content production. They will act as Snoonu’s communication architect, ensuring every message—from mass-market campaigns to executive speeches—reinforces the company’s vision and business objectives.
Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership : Define the long-term communication vision, ensuring alignment with Snoonu’s business strategy and brand ambitions; serve as a trusted advisor on priorities, risks, and opportunities.
- Corporate & Brand Communication : Lead integrated communication strategy across consumer and corporate audiences; guard Snoonu’s brand identity, voice, and tone; elevate innovation, partnerships, and community contributions through storytelling.
- Public Relations & Reputation Management : Build strong relationships with local, regional, and international media; oversee major launches, partnerships, crises, and leadership visibility; drive share of voice and consistent market positioning.
- Influencer & Community Advocacy : Architect Snoonu’s influencer and ambassador program; ensure alignment with corporate reputation and measurable ROI; create scalable activations.
- Creative Excellence : Set the vision for creative and content output; ensure campaigns and assets are bold, innovative, culturally resonant, and globally benchmarked; partner with digital, vertical, and performance marketing to amplify impact.
- Social Media Leadership : Define Snoonu’s social media strategy across platforms; set governance for tone, cadence, and content quality; oversee social listening and real-time sentiment management; collaborate with Vertical and Performance Marketing to amplify campaigns.
- Governance & Measurement : Establish communication governance to safeguard brand reputation and approvals; define and own KPIs (share of voice, PR value, brand equity, influencer ROI, engagement); provide leadership with strategic market insights.
