Position Overview We are seeking a detail‑oriented and efficient Accounts Payable professional to join our finance team in Doha, Qatar. As an Accounts Payable specialist you will play a crucial role in managing our company’s financial obligations and ensuring timely payments to vendors and suppliers.

Process and verify invoices, expense reports and payment requests

Manage vendor accounts and maintain accurate records in the Accounts Payable ledger

Reconcile Accounts Payable sub‑ledger with the General Ledger

Prepare and process domestic and international payments

Assist in monthly, quarterly and year‑end closing procedures

Monitor and reconcile vendor statements and handle vendor inquiries

Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards and local tax regulations

Prepare and file various tax‑related documents including TDS and VAT reconciliations

Assist in payroll processing and related tasks

Generate and analyze financial reports to support decision‑making

Collaborate with other departments to resolve discrepancies and maintain accurate financial records

Implement and maintain an efficient filing system for financial documents

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field

Proven experience in Accounts Payable, preferably in a corporate environment

Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices

Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle)

Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills

Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy

Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel

Knowledge of local tax regulations and compliance requirements in Qatar

Experience with foreign currency transactions and international payments

Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information

Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively

Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and technologies
