Chef De Partie – Specialized in Display and Presentation

Overview

Maintain the reputation and high standards of Radisson Blu Hotel at all times.

Ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and proper maintenance of kitchen areas and equipment.

Manage ordering, stock rotation, and proper storage of perishable goods.

Create and execute visually appealing buffet, banquet, and live station displays.

Deliver high-quality plating and maintain consistent presentation standards.

Collaborate with chefs to develop and implement innovative display concepts.

Maintain portion control, food quality, and proper documentation of kitchen output.

Prepare mise en place daily and ensure readiness of the assigned section.

Supervise and assist in service across breakfast, lunch, and dinner operations.

Lead, guide, and support junior staff while reporting irregularities to the Sous Chef.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 / 4 years in the same position in a 4 / 5 star hotel or in a high-end kitchen, with specialization in food presentation and display .
• Advanced skills in plating techniques , garnishing , and visual food styling for à la carte, buffet, and banquet setups.
• Proven ability to create eye-catching and innovative food displays that enhance guest experience.
• Knowledge of modern presentation trends , plating tools, and artistic arrangement.
• Strong aesthetic sense and attention to detail—must treat each plate as a work of art.
• Experience in designing and setting up buffets, live cooking stations, and themed displays .
• Ability to collaborate with kitchen and service teams to ensure consistency and visual appeal.
• Passion for culinary creativity and elevating food beyond taste through presentation.
• Proficient in portion control, mise en place management, and minimizing food waste.
• Possess a pleasing personality.
• Able to work under pressure in a fast paced, dynamic and challenging work environment.
• Excellent teamwork, communication, and leadership skills with a “Yes I Can!” attitude.
