QA / QC Manager Qatar

Overview

We are seeking an experienced QA / QC Manager with a strong background in the Oil & Gas sector. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing quality assurance and control functions in large-scale EPC contracting companies, particularly in projects involving refineries, petrochemicals, fertilizers, fabrication, erection of storage tanks, piping, and structural steel works.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain the project quality plan, ITPs, and QA / QC procedures.
• Oversee quality control activities during fabrication, erection, and commissioning phases.
• Ensure compliance with international codes, standards, and client specifications.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, and third-party inspectors on QA / QC matters.
• Lead and manage QA / QC teams across project sites.
• Conduct internal audits, inspections, and ensure corrective and preventive actions are implemented.
• Review and approve quality documentation, welding procedures, NDT reports, and test packages.
• Provide technical guidance on QA / QC issues and support project execution teams.
• Monitor supplier / vendor quality performance and conduct vendor audits.
• Prepare quality reports and present to senior management and clients.
