The Sales Events Account Manager is responsible for driving the successful acquisition, planning, and execution of high-value event partnerships and activations. This role combines strategic leadership with hands‑on execution, ensuring client satisfaction, profitability, and seamless collaboration between departments.
As a Sales Events Account Manager, you will lead the full lifecycle of high‑impact events — from initial pitch and pricing strategy to post‑sale collaboration with the production team and on‑ground delivery. You are expected to mentor junior team members, drive business growth, and maintain excellence across all client touchpoints.
- Lead acquisition and closure of high‑ticket event partnerships and activations
- Own pricing strategy, event forecasting, and proposal profitability
- Guide the Account team in deck development, pitch feasibility, and client strategy
- Serve as the primary point of contact for key event clients
- Collaborate closely with the Design team for pre‑sale pitches to ensure high quality deliverables
- Collaborate closely with the Production Manager post‑sale to ensure smooth execution
- Oversee all on‑ground operations for high‑value events, ensuring premium client service
- Coach and support Junior Account Executives in daily workflows
- Ensure clear and timely communication across internal teams and departments
- Maintain detailed documentation and progress tracking on Asana and shared drives
- Proactively identify upsell opportunities and maintain account health
