Uniform Attendant

The Uniform Attendant is responsible for issuing, receiving, maintaining and recording all staff uniforms. This role ensures that all uniforms are clean, well‑maintained and available as per organizational standards and hygiene requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Issue and collect uniforms from employees according to established procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of uniforms that are issued, returned or replaced.
• Inspect uniforms for damage or wear and arrange for repair, alteration or replacement as needed.
• Coordinate with the laundry department for timely washing, pressing and delivery of uniforms.
• Ensure proper labeling, storage and organization of uniforms.
• Assist in inventory control by conducting regular stock checks and maintaining inventory reports.
• Follow hygiene and safety procedures while handling soiled uniforms.
• Support new employee onboarding by ensuring timely uniform issuance.
• Report any loss, damage or shortages to the supervisor immediately.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the uniform room at all times.
