We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef with a passion for Malayalee cuisine to join our team in Ar-Ruwais, Qatar. As an Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire kitchen operations and creating delicious and authentic Malayalee dishes.
Requirements
Must be a Malaysian national or have extensive experience with Malayalee cuisine
Minimum of 5 years experience as an Executive Chef in a high‑end restaurant or hotel
Must be able to communicate effectively in English (Malayalam preferred)
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Culinary Arts or related field
Able to work in a fast‑paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Responsibilities
Plan and direct food preparation and culinary activities according to menu specifications
Create new dishes and recipes while maintaining the authenticity of Malayalee cuisine
Train and manage kitchen staff, ensuring high quality of work and adherence to food safety standards
Oversee inventory management and ordering of supplies
Monitor food quality, presentation, and portion control to maintain consistency across all dishes served
Develop and maintain relationships with local suppliers for fresh ingredients
Collaborate with Restaurant Manager on menu planning and pricing strategies
