Desert Gate offers excellent contracting, creative excursions, and superior in-resort services. Main Tasks and Responsibilities : HOTEL REPRESENTATIVE 1. Welcome Guests at the Airport : Meet and greet guests upon arrival, ensuring a warm and professional first impression. Assist with luggage and provide an overview of the itinerary. Escort guests to transportation for a seamless transition. 2. Assist with Check-in : Coordinate with hotel reception for smooth check-in. Provide guests with necessary information and address immediate concerns. 3. Handle Guest Questions and Queries : Be the first point of contact for guest inquiries, offering accurate information. Assist with bookings and special requests. 4. Updating Reports on the CRM : Input and update guest information accurately. Maintain records of preferences, issues, and accommodations. 5. Handling Payment Collections : Process payments securely and issue receipts. 6. Managing Complaints : Address guest concerns empathetically and escalate if necessary. TOUR GUIDE 1. Guiding Tours : Lead groups to key attractions, ensuring safety and engagement. 2. Providing Local Knowledge : Deliver informative commentary and stay updated on new attractions. 3. Ensuring Safety : Monitor safety, provide instructions, and handle emergencies. 4. Creating Memorable Experiences : Engage guests, use storytelling, and offer personalized recommendations. 5. Supporting Sales : Promote excursions and collect feedback. 6. Coordinating with Vendors : Work with transport and attraction providers for smooth logistics. Education & Professional Qualification High school diploma; tourism / hospitality training is a plus. QATAR Tour Guide License is advantageous. Valid QATAR driving license or international license convertible under RTA scheme. Experience & Skills Experience in customer service in tourism / hospitality preferred; guiding experience is a plus. Excellent communication skills in English & Romanian. Problem-solving and conflict resolution skills. Knowledge of QATAR attractions is a plus. Sales-oriented mindset. Proficiency in handling payments, CRM updates, and check-ins.
