Snr System Engineer (Dev) Power Platform Doha, Qatar msel Hire a Senior System Engineer (Development) – Power Platform Solution Developer for a national oil and gas operator in Doha, Qatar. Candidates must have a minimum of 8 years of relevant oil and gas industry experience in a similar role. Fluency in English is essential. Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and deploy custom business applications using Power Apps to meet diverse departmental needs. Build automated workflows with Power Automate to improve process efficiency and reduce manual tasks. Create reports and dashboards using Power BI to deliver actionable insights and data visualization. Utilize Dataverse and other databases to securely store and manage application data. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, understand pain points, and define success metrics. Write clean, efficient, and reusable code following best practices and security standards. Document solutions thoroughly, including technical specifications, user guides, and training materials. Provide ongoing support and training to users on developed solutions. Stay updated with the latest Power Platform features and functionalities. Identify opportunities to leverage the Power Platform for further process improvements and innovations. Analyze business needs to recommend cost-effective license configurations for solutions. Advise stakeholders on licensing issues and strategies for optimizing license utilization. Manage licenses effectively and monitor usage patterns. Design user-centric interfaces for Power Apps, ensuring intuitive navigation and accessibility across devices. Conduct user testing and gather feedback to refine application usability. Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Information Systems. Microsoft Power Platform certifications are advantageous. At least 8 years of experience, including a minimum of 3 years developing solutions with the Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, databases). Experience in designing user-friendly applications and understanding data modeling and business process automation. Strong problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills. Effective communication and teamwork abilities. Ability to work independently and collaboratively. Passion for learning emerging technologies. Experience with Microsoft Azure, SharePoint, and Office 365 is a plus. Knowledge of Power Platform licensing models and cost management strategies. Experience in database design and writing efficient queries.
