Duties and responsibilities :
Work in a 24x7 shift pattern for a real-time critical infrastructure that is run 365 days. Manage and maintain various maintenance asset management / ticketing system / Help Desk for all Lodige Middle East maintenance & support projects across MENA region. Handle the calls / tickets raised by each client and respond accordingly. A team of Mechanical / Electrical and PLC Engineers are available for a joint troubleshooting if required. Take ownership of customer issues reported and tracking through to resolution in the respective shifts. Proper handover to the next shift personnel is mandatory. Research, diagnose, troubleshoot, and identify solutions to resolve system issues. Provide prompt and accurate feedback to various end-users. Prepare timely reports and information as mandated by the management or end-user management. Assist co-Lodige Engineers with site support and commissioning activities as and when required. Follow escalation procedure of unresolved issues up the ladder. Qualifications / Training required :
Hold Engineering Degree in IT / Computer Science / Electronics / from any reputed universities. Good understanding of Cisco networking architectures and CCNA / CCNP certifications preferred. Knowledge in routing & switching, wireless, voice, DC, security preferred. Knowledge in Server and storage infrastructure preferred – VMware, VEEAM backup and recovery, RHEL, Basic Linux commands, Oracle 12c Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues and coordinate with 3rd party support vendors. Proven work experience as a Technical Support Engineer would be preferrable. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. English speaking and writing skills.
