Your Role – International, Challenging, and Future-Oriented! You will : Contract Management :
Oversee all aspects of contract management, including drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts with vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors. Draft and review contractual letters for customers and vendors. Advise sales and project management teams on contractual and commercial matters, representing Siemens’ interests. Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, deadlines, and regulations. Identify opportunities for margin improvement and recovery. Conduct risk assessments and lead efforts to mitigate contractual risks and disputes. Prepare and review claims, EOT, and contractual correspondence, and documentation for claims substantiation and defense. Assess and quantify risks and opportunities from claims. Communicate observations and recommendations to sales and project teams for continuous improvement. Collaborate with the legal department on legal matters. Manage customer expectations and maintain positive relationships. Commercial Sales Management :
Review and approve cost sheets and offers, including contractual terms. Ensure compliance with LoA guidelines and risk management processes. Identify, assess, and monitor all commercial risks during the bid phase. Ensure compliance with tax regulations, export control, hedging, and currency regulations. Analyze customer requirements and assess commercial and contractual feasibility. Ensure adherence to internal controls and proper documentation in systems like SAP. Manage financial guarantees, bonds, project securities, and insurance continuously. Your success is grounded in : Education and Certification :
Degree in Law (LLB or LLM), Business, Finance, Engineering, or equivalent. An MBA is advantageous. Professional Experience :
Proven experience in construction contracts, especially within the Middle East region. Experience in project contract management and risk management. 10+ years of professional experience on large EPC projects. At least 4 years as a site contract manager for large or medium EPC projects. 3+ years in executing time & material contracts of over 5 million USD. Key Skills and Knowledge :
