Responsibilities
Welcome guests at the airport and provide a warm first impression.
Assist with luggage coordination and give an overview of the itinerary.Escort guests to transportation and ensure a seamless transition.Handle check‑in through liaison with hotel reception.Provide key cards, welcome packs, and itinerary details.Address room preferences, special requests, and dietary needs.Answer guest inquiries about services, excursions, and local attractions.Process payment collections for excursions, issue receipts, and handle cash / card transactions securely.Update the CRM with arrivals, departures, feedback, and any adjustments.Resolve complaints courteously, escalating when necessary.Tour GuideLead groups on guided tours to Qatari attractions.
Ensure safety, smooth transitions, and adherence to schedules.Provide engaging commentary on history, culture, and significance of sites.Stay updated on new attractions, events, and tourism developments.Answer questions accurately, adapting explanations to audience interests.Monitor safety, give clear instructions on customs and regulations, and handle emergencies calmly.Conduct risk assessments and ensure compliance with safety guidelines.Engage guests interactively through storytelling and fun facts.Offer personalized recommendations for additional experiences.Promote optional excursions, packages, and upgrades to enhance guest experience.Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to share insights on preferences.Coordinate with drivers, transport providers, attraction operators, and vendors for seamless service delivery.Ideal Profile
High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in tourism or hospitality is a plus.Valid Qatari Tour Guide License (advantage).Valid Qatari driving licence (or international licence convertible under RTA scheme).Experience & Skills
Experience in customer‑service roles within tourism / hospitality sectors. Guiding experience preferred.Excellent verbal and written communication; focus on customer service.Fluent in English and Romanian.Problem‑solving and conflict resolution skills.In‑depth knowledge of Qatari tourist attractions preferred.Sales focus and ability to handle payments and CRM updates efficiently.What's on Offer?
