Director - Marketing Services Qatar

Overview

Visa is looking for a seasoned inspirational leader to continue growing Marketing Services in Qatar. As a key member of the Kuwait Qatar KQ and wider GCC Marketing team the selected candidate will drive the strategy vision and go‑to‑market approach to continue advancing Marketing Services to a profitable and strong revenue driver for Visa in KQ. Marketing Services is a quickly growing business and part of Visa’s overall strategic growth priority to deliver value‑added services revenue through client engagements. We are focused on delivering value to our clients through marketing advisory and execution services.

This role leads client marketing team partners closely with KQ Cluster lead GCC counterparts, Visa Consulting Analytics (VCA), Sales teams and Finance to execute a range of service lines from research and insights to marketing strategy and execution.

The ideal candidate will be a results‑oriented, highly motivated and inspirational leader with the ability to set a clear vision to drive growth. The individual must be flexible and have a can‑do positive attitude combining a solutions‑orientated mindset with a highly collaborative approach. This leader must have a strong track record in managing high‑performance teams through direct and indirect reporting lines, coupled with experience of working in a global matrix environment across fast‑changing sectors. The selected individual will bring strong commercial acumen and deep proven marketing expertise in world‑class brands and will be ready to take the team and the Marketing Services function to the next level. The role will report directly to the Senior Director, Head of Cluster Marketing Services, Kuwait Qatar.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for developing and commercializing a suite of Marketing Services to deliver a sustainable, profitable and long‑term revenue driver for Visa.
• Develop a path to driving an embedded model with top strategic clients where there is repeatable and committed revenue engagement each year.
• Develop deep client partnership understanding to create and implement strategic marketing and communication plans designed to meet client and market requirements, contributing to Visa portfolio growth.
• Partner with Visa Consulting Analytics (VCA) to develop a One Visa strategic operating model to help better serve our clients and maximize revenue for both VCA and Marketing.
• Develop and expand service lines with a focus on scaling revenue but also optimizing margin.
• Lead RFP response efforts including the response pitch work and ideation showcasing Visa as the most competitive and strategic option for our clients.
• Manage the annual planning cycle through a strategic bottom‑up approach.
• Partner with the GCC marketing leadership to support strategic thought leadership and advancement of larger sponsorship and non‑sponsorship client offerings.
• Champion cross‑functional operating model including with country Client Marketing leads, VCA and Finance.
• Develop clear and concise executive‑level communications to report the progress and financials of Qatar Marketing Services.

Work Environment

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in the office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.
