Our video security, access control and software solutions include Avigilon Alta, Avigilon Unity and Pelco portfolios to help you respond quickly and effectively. We offer solutions to deploy video security or access control, body-worn cameras, and analytics through purpose-built applications.
Reporting to the Senior Sales Director, the Channel Account Executive will be a dynamic, end-user customer-focused professional who is knowledgeable and passionate about security solutions.
Responsibilities
- Promote and market Motorola Solutions Video Security & Access Control (VS&A) products and services within the assigned territory. Negotiation and closing of sales and execution of contracts are handled by Motorola Solutions head office.
- Support VS&A sales activities in the territory by creating, nurturing, and responding to sales opportunities for VS&A products and services with End Users.
- Collaborate with Channel Account Managers (Small Medium Business, Corporate Accounts, Enterprise), Distribution Channel Managers, Sales Engineers, Inside Sales Managers to close new opportunities.
- Assist leadership in establishing quarterly and annual sales objectives for the territory.
- Conduct sales calls, schedule local promotional work, and track sales activities with end user and distributor opportunities using Motorola Solutions lead and project tracking software.
- Provide information to prospective customers such as pricing, terms of sales, and delivery methods.
- Provide basic technical guidance and product training to end users to help them understand how to use our products.
- Assist with supervision of installations at end user sites, especially for key accounts, to ensure proper commissioning and customer satisfaction.
- Attend trade shows and other marketing events.
- Participate in the development of training materials for our products.
- Provide feedback about partner and end user requirements to relevant teams to help develop product improvements and new releases.
- Maintain knowledge of competitive offerings and compile data on competitive products and pricing.
- Identify key surveillance market influencers in the territory, establish contact, and demonstrate the value of our solutions.
Basic Requirements
4+ years of Video and Access Control security solutions sales experience or relevant field.3+ years of customer-facing experience, preferably with end users.Physical security solutions experience is an asset.Excellent analytical, verbal, and written communication skills in English; additional language skills a plus.Strong technical acumen and ability to speak to our products and solutions.Ability to accurately forecast revenue on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.Proven track record of achieving sales results and developing collaborative relationships.Hunter mentality with motivation to create new customers / sales.Time management skills to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Proven funnel development through aggressive prospecting.Exceptional presentation skills.Strong computer skills with the ability to learn and demonstrate new software at a high level.Ability to travel approximately 25-50%.Having an established client base in the territory is a plus.Travel and Additional Details
