Railway Specialist will provide expert guidance on the planning, design, and implementation of railway infrastructure projects. The role focuses on delivering technically sound, safe, and efficient rail systems, ensuring compliance with national and international railway standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design review, development, and technical analysis of railway infrastructure projects, including tracks, stations, signaling, and electrification systems.
• Prepare and review feasibility studies, concept designs, detailed design, and technical specifications for railway systems.
• Ensure compliance with relevant railway standards, codes, and regulations (national and international).
• Provide technical advice on railway alignment, track geometry, civil structures (bridges, tunnels, stations), and systems integration.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary design teams, including civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, and signaling engineers.
• Conduct technical risk assessments and provide mitigation measures for design and operational challenges.
• Review contractor / sub-consultant designs and provide approvals or recommendations.
• Prepare detailed reports, presentations, and technical documentation for clients and stakeholders.
• Support project management with planning, scheduling, and quality control of railway design deliverables.
