Road and Transport Planning Expert will provide technical expertise in the planning, design, and implementation of road and transportation projects. This role involves analyzing transport systems, preparing feasibility studies, developing traffic management strategies, and ensuring sustainable and efficient transport solutions aligned with local and international standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive transport and road network assessments, including traffic surveys, travel demand analysis, and transport modeling.
• Develop short-term and long-term road and transport plans in line with urban development goals.
• Design and review traffic management schemes, including junctions, intersections, signal timings, and pedestrian / cyclist facilities.
• Conduct feasibility studies, cost-benefit analyses, and impact assessments for proposed road and transport projects.
• Evaluate and recommend transport policies, strategies, and infrastructure improvements.
• Coordinate with government agencies, stakeholders, and consultants to ensure compliance with regulations and standards.
• Provide technical guidance and support to project teams, including reviewing designs and proposals prepared by other engineers or consultants.
• Prepare detailed reports, presentations, and technical documentation for decision-makers.
• Stay updated on trends and innovations in transport planning, smart mobility, and sustainable transport systems.
