Integrated Transport Specialist will provide expertise in developing, implementing, and monitoring integrated transport systems that promote seamless mobility, sustainability, and efficiency. The role focuses on multimodal transport planning, policy development, and coordination between urban, regional, and national transport networks.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the planning, design, and integration of multimodal transport systems (road, rail, public transit, pedestrian, and cycling networks).

Conduct transport demand analysis, capacity assessments, and modeling to optimize network performance.

Develop transport policies, strategies, and implementation frameworks for integrated and sustainable mobility.

Conduct feasibility studies, cost-benefit analyses, and social / environmental impact assessments for proposed transport projects.

Coordinate with government agencies, stakeholders, and private sector partners to ensure alignment of transport systems and policies.

Review and provide technical input on transport master plans, urban mobility plans, and infrastructure projects.

Promote smart and sustainable transport solutions, including intelligent transport systems (ITS), mobility-as-a-service (MaaS), and low-emission transport options.

Provide guidance and capacity building for project teams, including reviewing designs, proposals, and implementation plans.

Prepare detailed reports, presentations, and recommendations for decision-makers and stakeholders.

Qualifications and Experience

Bachelors degree in Transport Planning, Civil Engineering, Urban Planning, or a related field. A Masters degree is preferred.

Minimum of 10 years of experience in integrated transport planning and multimodal transport systems.

Experience in transport modeling tools (e.g., VISUM, TransCAD, VISSIM) and GIS applications.

Strong understanding of transport policy, urban mobility strategies, and sustainable transport practices.

Experience in conducting feasibility studies, traffic impact assessments, and transport master plans.

Skills and Competencies

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills.

Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and work collaboratively across agencies.

Knowledge of emerging transport technologies, ITS, and smart mobility solutions.

Project management skills, including planning, scheduling, and monitoring project progress.
