Responsibilities

Desktop, laptop, and workstation troubleshooting

Peripheral configuration (printers, scanners, webcams, docking stations)

BIOS / UEFI configuration and firmware updates

Device imaging and deployment

Windows 10 / 11 installation, configuration, and troubleshooting

Linux (Ubuntu / CentOS) basic commands and troubleshooting

OS patching, updates, and driver installation

Microsoft Office / Office 365 support

Antivirus installation and policy compliance

Remote support tools (TeamViewer, AnyDesk, RDP, VNC)

Wi‑Fi configuration and network connectivity issues

Printer network configuration

Knowledge of VLAN & switch port basics (optional but useful)

Active Directory (user creation, password reset, group membership)

File permissions and shared drive access

MFA setup and troubleshooting

Endpoint protection tools (Defender, CrowdStrike, Symantec)

Safe browsing and malware response basics

Ticketing tools (ServiceNow, Jira, ManageEngine, Remedy, Freshservice)

Incident, request, and problem management

Asset management & CMDB updates

Documentation of incidents, solutions, and knowledge base articles
