Responsibilities
- Develop, review, and approve NDT procedures, techniques, and inspection methods (UT, RT, MT, PT, VT, ET, PAUT, TOFD, etc.).
- Qualify and certify NDT Level I and II personnel, ensuring their competence and compliance.
- Interpret codes, standards, and customer specifications for NDT requirements.
- Provide technical support and resolution for complex NDT issues.
- Approve NDT equipment, consumables, and calibration procedures.
- Ensure traceability and proper documentation of NDT activities.
- Review and approve inspection reports prepared by Level II inspectors.
- Liaise with clients, third-party inspectors, and regulatory authorities for audits and inspections.
- Conduct failure analysis and advanced evaluation of welds, castings, and materials.
- Ensure compliance with international standards (ASNT, ISO 9712, EN, API, ASME, ASTM).
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Mechanical, Metallurgical, or related Engineering field.Valid NDT Level III Certification (ASNT, PCN, ISO 9712, or equivalent) in at least two or more methods (e.g., RT, UT, MT, PT).Minimum 8–12 years of NDT experience, including at least 3–5 years as Level III.Hands-on experience in oil & gas, petrochemical, shipyard, or heavy fabrication projects.Should possess PCN / ISO 9712 Level III in RT, PT, UT and MT certificationsLocation : Qatar
