About You
Spiro are currently recruiting for a Senior Business Development Associate to join our team in Qatar. You will build relationships with new and existing clients and work closely with marketing and other internal sales departments to maximise opportunities.
Overview Of The Role
The Senior Business Development Associate is responsible for helping to increase revenue by generating leads and sales for corporate events new business by promoting and offering our market leading products and services to corporate events teams and event agencies. Through relationship building and excellent communication skills particularly on the telephone, you will be the first point of contact to identify tender opportunities, identify events to target, gather important information on potential clients and competitor activity and most importantly and predominantly immediate sales opportunities for the sales team to approach.
The Ideal Candidate
What You’ll Need
You will need to have experience working within a similar role / at a similar level including experience of sales, and / or telemarketing. You will be well organised and be able to work independently on own initiative as this role involves a great deal of organisation in diarising call backs and email follow ups, liaising with different parties and working in a fast paced, ever-changing environment. You will be passionate about events, taking pride in all elements of an event and will be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office : Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
