Overview Marsh a global leader in insurance broking and risk management is seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager to join our Qatar team. We are looking for a talented professional who can drive growth and build strategic client relationships in the insurance and advisory sector.
Role Description We are recruiting an experienced sales professional to lead business development efforts identifying and securing new business opportunities across Qatar and the broader GCC region.
Key Responsibilities
Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities in the insurance and risk management market
Develop and maintain relationships with mid to senior-level stakeholders
Network extensively to expand client base and generate leads
Consultatively sell Mercer products across different organizational levels
Develop comprehensive sales strategies to drive business growth
Convert potential leads into long-term client relationships
Requirements
7-10 years of professional sales experience
Background preferably in insurance broking
Strong networking and communication skills
Ability to engage with mid to senior‑level decision‑makers
Proven track record in business development
Preference for candidates from Qatar or GCC market
Excellent command of English
