Job description

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Director to lead strategic growth initiatives across the defense and Security sectors . The ideal candidate will possess deep industry expertise, exceptional market insight, and a strong network within the MENA region .

This role will drive business expansion by identifying strategic partnerships, suppliers, and investment opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Market Development : Direct all business development activities, continuously monitor defense market requirements and identify optimal solutions through global suppliers and investment partners.
  • Focus on MENA Market : Expand and strengthen the company’s presence regionally and internationally.
  • Communication & Relationship Building : Establish and oversee execution of a strategic communication plan that promotes the company’s value proposition to customers, government agencies, and international defense entities.
  • Build & Maintain Relationships : Cultivate long‑term relationships with global defense contractors, security institutions, and industry leaders to drive business growth and strategic collaboration.
  • Client & Market Intelligence : Continuously assess current and emerging requirements of government, defense, and state security clients; source innovative offerings from the company’s existing investment portfolio or new partnerships in the global defense sector.
  • Trend Analysis : Maintain an in‑depth understanding of global defense trends, key players, market drivers, and technological advancements to anticipate opportunities and challenges.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Background : Business Development in the defense industry
  • Years of Experience : 10–15 years in the same or related field
  • Proven Success : Developing and executing business strategies within defense and security domains, preferably in the MENA region
  • Partnership Track Record : Partnering with government agencies, defense Manufacturers, and technology firms
  • Key Skills : Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management
  • Education : Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Defense Studies, or related field; a Master’s degree is an advantage
