Network Specialist

Install configure and maintain networking hardware including routers switches firewalls and wireless access points Monitor and troubleshoot network performance issues including bandwidth and connectivity problems Support and maintain local area networks LAN wide area networks WAN and virtual private networks VPN Implement network security protocols to protect the organization from external and internal threats Provide technical support for networkrelated issues and liaise with thirdparty vendors for hardware software support Perform regular network performance assessments and recommend improvements Configure and manage network monitoring tools to identify issues and track usage metrics Collaborate with other IT departments to integrate network solutions with other technology systems Document network architecture configurations and troubleshooting procedures Assist in network upgrades and migrations ensuring minimal downtime Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations regarding network security and data protection
