2 Years' experience in the field of Anatomical Pathology.Position Description :
As a Pathologist Assistant, you will support the Anatomical Pathology Section by conducting gross examinations, dissections, and preparing surgical specimens for histological analysis. This role requires advanced technical skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to work under supervision of attending consultants to maintain high standards of diagnostic accuracy, safety, and quality in pathology.
Key Responsibilities :
Perform gross examination and surgical cut-up of specimens, including intra-operative frozen sections, under supervision.Prepare tissues for histological processing, select samples for advanced studies, and ensure proper labeling and handling.Document gross features, gather clinical history, and photograph specimens.Communicate with clinicians regarding pathology cases.Participate in frozen sections, bronchoscopy assistance, and other diagnostic procedures.Contribute to research, CPD / CME activities, and accreditation preparations.Supervise and guide residents, students, and staff.Support quality control and safety protocols.Maintain laboratory equipment and manage supplies.Assist administrative and organizational tasks.#J-18808-Ljbffr
