Senior Radiation Protection Officer

Qatar based Oil and Gas client is looking to hire a Senior Radiation Safety Officer t o advise and develop effective safety strategies, standards and procedures in Radiation Safety.

You will be reporting to the HSE Manager.

Role Responsibility

• Develop, implement and maintain corporate standards, procedures and guidelines in the field of Radiation Safety, with the broader aim of ensuring that risks are identified, monitored and managed.
• Develop and implement corporate driven Radiation Safety Process and improvement plan including identifying the performance measures and targets for Radiation Safety, enhanced monitoring and reporting of proactive leading indicators.
• Participate / Lead investigations to identify root causes of major radiation protection incidents or those with high potential risk, to assure that corrective measures are identified, and preventive measures are implemented to prevent further recurrence.

Education Requirements

Bachelor’s in Engineering or Science discipline.
