Senior Commissioning Engineer – Offshore Projects

We are representing a leading international energy operator, renowned for delivering complex offshore oil & gas projects across greenfield and brownfield developments. Due to continued project expansion, we are seeking an experienced and versatile Senior Commissioning Engineer to join their offshore projects team. A well-rounded background is essential — you will have solid commissioning experience, and ideally, exposure to decommissioning processes to support the full asset lifecycle. Key Responsibilities :

Lead and oversee commissioning activities across offshore projects, acting as the main interface between internal teams, contractors, and senior stakeholders. Ensure all works are executed in accordance with approved scopes, engineering designs, HSE standards, and quality specifications. Provide technical guidance to commissioning teams and contractors to drive project completion on schedule. Proactively identify risks, bottlenecks, and technical challenges, proposing effective solutions. Represent the company at contractor offices, fabrication yards, offshore installations, and hook-up locations to monitor progress and quality. Support decommissioning phases as projects reach end-of-life, ensuring safe and compliant execution. Requirements :

Degree in Engineering or equivalent technical qualification, with substantial hands-on experience. Minimum of 15 years’ experience in design, commissioning, start-up, and ideally decommissioning of offshore oil & gas processing facilities. Proven background in FEED and EPIC / EPC projects with the ability to review and approve contractor deliverables.
