CPA / ACCA / CFA or equivalent strongly preferred. 10+ years in senior finance leadership, with at least 5 years as CFO in high-performance environments. Proven success in business turnaround and profitability improvement. Strong knowledge of FMCG sector financials in Qatar. Bilingual : English required, Arabic preferred.
Overview
The CFO will act as a key partner to the CEO and Board, leading financial strategy, governance, and operational efficiency. The role focuses on turning around a loss-making business, driving profitability, ensuring compliance, and enabling sustainable growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a financial turnaround strategy to restore profitability.
- Oversee accounting, treasury, reporting, and internal controls in line with IFRS and local regulations.
- Drive cost optimization, revenue growth, and performance improvement across operations.
- Partner with business units and maintain strong relations with banks, auditors, and regulators.
- Ensure compliance with tax, governance, and audit requirements while managing risks.
- Lead and develop the finance team to achieve high performance and ethical standards.
