Senior Clinical Psychology Specialist - Qatar

Our client, Hamad Medical Corporation, is looking to recruit a Senior Clinical Psychology Specialist within their Mental Health Service. Applicants must be bilingual.

Eligibility

• To be eligible to apply for this role you must;

Hold a Master Degree in Clinical Psychology

Valid Primary Licence from the country of origin AND should be eligible for licence from the Licensing Authority in the State of Qatar to practice Healthcare

Be registered with the Health Care Professionals Council (HCPC) or relevant other council

6 years in Clinical Psychology field (with experience of supervised training in both inpatient and outpatient settings).

Outpatient / Inpatient unit psychology service, CBT, Basic DBT, Super specialty in CAMHS, Forensics or Old Age, Psychological Trauma care

Must be bilingual

Package

You will receive a comprehensive benefits package with this position, which will include :

3 years contract extended by mutual agreement

Job Summary

Under general supervision, provides psychological assessment, diagnosis and individual, group and family therapy. Case management services, referrals and follow-up to acute, chronic or moderately disturbed ill clients and / or patients.

Key Accountabilities

Diagnoses or evaluates mental and emotional disorders of individuals and administers programmes of treatment.

Observes patients in various situations and selects, administers and interprets intelligence level.

Participates in educational programmes, in-service meetings, clinician meetings and workshops.

Develop and implement clinical research programmes.

Perform additional duties as assigned.
