About the Role We are seeking a highly organized and detail‑oriented Senior Document Controller to join our Roads Operations & Maintenance team in Doha, Qatar. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for managing and controlling all project‑related documentation, ensuring compliance with quality standards and facilitating efficient information flow across the organization.
Develop and maintain a comprehensive document control system for all project‑related documentation
Implement and oversee document control procedures, ensuring adherence to company standards and regulatory requirements
Manage the receipt, distribution, and filing of all project documents, including drawings, specifications, and reports
Coordinate with project teams to ensure timely submission and proper versioning of documents
Perform regular quality checks on documentation to maintain accuracy and completeness
Utilize document management software to track, store, and retrieve project information efficiently
Generate reports on document status, revisions, and distribution for project management and stakeholders
Train and guide team members on document control processes and best practices
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to improve document management workflows and systems
Ensure proper archiving and retention of project documents in compliance with legal and contractual requirements
What do we need from you
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Management, or a related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in document control, preferably in roads operations and maintenance or similar infrastructure projects
Proficiency in document management systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Strong knowledge of database management and filing systems
Familiarity with quality control procedures and industry standards
Experience with project documentation in construction or infrastructure projects
Knowledge of roads operations and maintenance processes
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Familiarity with engineering and construction documentation is a plus
