Installation Supervisor (MSV)

Overview

Installation Supervisor (MSV) – Location : Qatar (70% offshore / 30% onshore). Contract : 36 months, starting October 2025. Work Schedule : 12 hours per day, 7 days per week, approximately 28 days per month.

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Installation Supervisor (MSV) to represent the project team onboard marine installation vessels. This role ensures the safe, compliant, and efficient execution of offshore installation works while maintaining oversight of contractors’ daily activities. It is well-suited for professionals with strong offshore experience who thrive in demanding environments and are confident leading multi-cultural teams.

Key Responsibilities

Act as the project’s site representative onboard the vessel during installation works.

Provide day-to-day supervision of contractor activities, ensuring adherence to plans, specifications, and procedures.

Communicate activity status and progress updates to onshore project leads.

Monitor offshore activities to ensure safe and quality-compliant execution.

Coordinate with project teams and departments to resolve technical or operational issues.

Manage incident response and contribute to problem-solving in offshore conditions.

Ensure compliance with safety, health, environment, and quality requirements at all times.

Lead and collaborate effectively in a multi-cultural team environment.

Contribute to workforce development initiatives as required.

Requirements

Diploma in Engineering or equivalent technical qualification.

Minimum 8 years’ offshore installation experience on vessels supporting transport and installation activities.

At least 5 years’ experience as a Field Engineer or Site Supervisor onboard installation vessels.

Strong knowledge of offshore facility and subsea structure installation methods.

Demonstrated track record of supervising MSV operations.

Understanding of lifting, rigging, and safety standards.

Fluent in English, with strong communication and leadership skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Prior experience with permit-to-work systems in offshore environments is an advantage.
