Accountabilities
Coordinate and track cybersecurity activities across internal teams, contractors, and suppliers throughout all stages of the project lifecycle.
Ensure that all prerequisites for cybersecurity activities are defined and met by contractors and suppliers before commencing work.
Monitor and follow up on key deliverables such as cybersecurity reports, asset inventories, execution plans, IP address listings, punch lists, and other relevant documentation.
Manage assigned cybersecurity responsibilities in line with the overall project execution plan and contractual commitments, ensuring full compliance with applicable requirements.
Track and address cybersecurity-related deviations and change orders, ensuring timely responses to contractor and supplier inputs.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate and monitor cybersecurity project activities, timelines, and deliverables across multiple workstreams.
Collaborate with cybersecurity engineers, analysts, vendors, and project stakeholders to ensure seamless execution.
Use project management tools to track milestones, dependencies, and key deliverables.
Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation including project plans, risk registers, meeting minutes, and status reports.
Serve as a communication bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders.
Participate in regular progress meetings with contractors and suppliers, documenting and following up on agreed actions.
Support alignment with industry cybersecurity frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, IEC 62443).
Proactively identify and escalate project risks, issues, or critical dependencies.
Assist with the rollout of cybersecurity awareness and training initiatives.
Ensure completed project documentation is appropriately handed over to operations or support teams.
Requirements
Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
3–5 years of experience in project coordination or project management, ideally within IT or cybersecurity.
Solid understanding of cybersecurity tools, concepts, and frameworks.
Proficient in project management platforms (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet, Jira).
Relevant certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, CAPM, GICSP, or CISSP are considered an asset.
Familiarity with OT / ICS environments is a strong advantage.
Understanding of cybersecurity risk management, governance, and regulatory compliance.
Experience in highly regulated industries such as energy, utilities, or oil & gas.
Knowledge of international codes, standards, and general industry specifications is preferred.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to work both independently and in cross-functional teams.
