We are seeking an accomplishedDigital Delivery Leadwith a proven track record of delivering large-scale, high-quality solutions and leading diverse delivery teams. This role requires a minimum of 12 years of professional experience, including at least 7 years in a senior leadership capacity, with a strong background in delivery management, digital delivery, team leadership, and strategic execution.
The Digital Delivery Lead will oversee allproject managers and digital delivery managers, providing strategic direction, ensuring operational excellence, and enabling end-to-end delivery of business-critical solutions. This individual will also closely collaborate with the channel architect and the front-end development manager, foster best practices, and drive continuous improvement across delivery processes.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Management
- Lead and mentor alldigital delivery managers, providing direction, coaching, and performance management.
- Ensure alignment of all delivery functions with business priorities and strategic objectives.
- Assign projects to digital delivery managers, ensuring balanced capacity availability across teams.
- Lead and manage the front-end development team, focusing on project delivery, resource allocation, and performance tracking.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and innovation across all delivery functions.
Project & Delivery Oversight
Oversee front-end project deliverables, ensuring timelines, quality standards, and client expectations are consistently met.Oversee daily operations of delivery teams, including project assignment, progress monitoring, and coordination of deliverables.Serve as the primary escalation point for complex delivery challenges, providing hands-on solutions and guidance.Own the automated build, CI / CD pipelines, and deployment process for mobile applications, emphasizing efficiency and reliability.Manage mobile application store submissions (App Store / Google Play), including release planning, compliance, and deployment.Act as the single focal point to lead and communicate all new policies, mandates, and features from Apple / Google stores, with clear timelines and deadlines.Establish and oversee robust release and migration management processes to ensure smooth, reliable deployments across environments.Standards, Automation & Best Practices
Establish and enforce coding standards, reusable components, and front-end design patterns.Drive standardization initiatives within delivery workflows, optimizing efficiency and ensuring consistency across projects.Lead efforts in automated testing (unit, integration, UI) and continuous integration pipelines.Build solution development processes, documentation, and knowledge repositories to enhance efficiency.Collaboration & Cross-functional Engagement
Work closely with product managers, UX / UI designers, backend developers, and business stakeholders to align on requirements and technical solutions.Oversee operations for e-shop and self-service machines in coordination with 3rd-party partners (e.g., e-shop, logistics).Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and ensure cohesive execution.Migration & Strategic Planning
Lead and manage delivery and migration plans, calendar releases, and large-scale transformation projects.Oversee in-depth migration strategies such as Wordpress to Liferay, or native apps to React Native.Conduct internal feasibility studies, market research, and prepare solution battle cards (pros / cons).Performance & Continuous Improvement
Conduct regular reviews to ensure consistency, maintainability, and quality in delivery.Actively drive process improvement cycles, introducing tools and methods for faster and better outcomes.Ensure delivery teams are leveraging industry best practices and integrating emerging technologies.Training & Knowledge Sharing
Coach less experienced engineers and project managers, fostering continuous learning and professional growth.Provide training on new technologies, solution development, and delivery methodologies.Promote adoption of tools such as Liferay, Wordpress, and CleverTap within delivery teams.Qualifications
12+ years of professional experience, including 7+ years in a seniordigital delivery leadership role.Proven success leading project managers, digital delivery managers, and large cross-functional technical teams.Strong expertise in delivery / project management, front-end technologies, and agile methodologies.Hands-on expertise in CI / CD pipelines, store management (App Store / Google Play), release planning, and deployment processes.Demonstrated ability to drive performance, optimize processes, and deliver business-critical solutions at scale.Preference for candidates with experience in tools such asLiferay, Wordpress, and CleverTap.In-depth knowledge ofmigration strategies, release calendars, and migration plans (e.g., Wordpress to Liferay, native to React).#J-18808-Ljbffr
