Your job is important since the efficient handling of the company’s products and supplies is critical for the attainment of business goals.
The successful inventory and receiving personnel is a reliable professional with excellent record-keeping abilities.

The goal is to ensure that all business operations have adequate material to achieve their objectives.
Main Responsibilities Devise ways to optimize inventory control procedures Ensure product stock is adequate for all distribution channels and can cover direct demand from customers Record daily deliveries and shipments to reconcile inventory.
Record daily Warehouse transfers to Kitchen Maintain FEFO (First Expiry First Out) on inventory movements Use Microsoft Office tools to monitor demand and document characteristics of inventory Alert the buyers on stock, avoiding insufficiencies or excessive surplus Collaborate with warehouse employees and other staff to ensure business goals are met Report to upper management on stock levels, issues, etc.
Resourcefully solve any issues that arise and seize control of any problematic situation Comply with and enforce sanitation regulations and safety standards Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers Ideal Candidate Qualifications Must have had previous proven experience as an inventory and receiving officer or similar position.
Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in inventory and stock management within the restaurant, hotel, or production facility (food) industries.
Must be proficient with Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets.
Must be currently present in Qatar.
Must be a proficient communicator in English.
Ensuring health, hygiene, and safety regulations are complied with and applied in the department in compliance with HACCP standards and procedures is a major plus.
Good understanding of food safety.
Knowledge and competency Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods.
Ability to accurately track inventory and create reports.
