Purpose Of The Position

As Offshore Methods Lead , you will report to the Offshore Installation / Engineering Manager and be part of the Subsea Engineering – INSTAM / T&I team, supporting various projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare a complete engineering installation package, including :

Installation procedures

  • Rigging drawings
  • Checklist dossiers
  • Trial lift and load‑out procedures
  • Coordinate all interfaces with the installation analysis team (Naval Engineering ‑ Structural Engineering ‑ Pipelay Analysis), providing necessary inputs and conducting thorough reviews of analysis and design reports.
  • Oversee the operations phase, including procurement of temporary materials, vessel mobilization and coordination with subcontractors and their contracts.
  • Support onshore and offshore operations by providing technical assistance to the vessel management team and ensuring smooth execution during mobilization, testing and installation phases.
  • Lead and manage a team composed of junior engineers (method / operations), draftsmen and ensure timely preparation of all installation documents.

    • Education

  • Master’s degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering (preferred). Other engineering disciplines may also be considered.

    • Experience

  • Minimum 10–12 years in Installation Engineering, including offshore operations follow‑up and project experience on offshore and yard bases.

    • Languages

  • Proficient in English.

    • Technical Skills / Knowledge

  • Strong experience in offshore transportation and installation (T&I).
  • Good knowledge of major offshore T&I codes and standards (e.g., DNV, API).

    • IT Skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Project.
