Librarian

Librarian for an International School in Ar-Ruwais, Egypt

We are seeking a highly organized and knowledgeable Librarian to join our reputable international school in Ar-Ruwais, Egypt. As a Librarian, you will be responsible for managing the school library and providing access to educational materials for students and faculty. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1300$ per month.

Responsibilities :

• Organize and maintain the school library, including books, magazines, and other educational materials.
• Develop and implement library policies and procedures to ensure efficient use of resources.
• Assist students in finding appropriate reading materials for their age and interests.
• Collaborate with teachers to incorporate library resources into lesson plans.
• Conduct research for students and faculty upon request.
• Manage check-out system for books and other materials.
• Keep inventory of all library materials and order new items as needed.
• Promote literacy through book clubs, reading challenges, and other activities.
• Train students on how to effectively use the library resources.
