Linumis Consult’s client is a major organisation in Qatar. They are urgently seeking an IT Operations & Infrastructure Manager to join their team in Doha.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Managing the company’s end-to-end IT infrastructure and operations environment, ensuring high availability, resilience, and security across all sites
- Overseeing servers, data centres, networks, connectivity, cloud environments, CCTV, Wi‑Fi, and all IT assets
- Leading IT infrastructure, service desk, and support teams, and managing vendors, service providers, contracts, and RFP processes.
- Overseeing NOC and SOC operations, vendor SLA governance, infrastructure contract renewals, and budget planning, ensuring operational excellence and business continuity
- Leading, managing, and developing multi-disciplinary teams including infrastructure engineers, network / system administrators, NOC / SOC staff, IT service desk analysts, and field technicians
- Overseeing the design, implementation, monitoring, and optimisation of IT infrastructure
- Ensuring resilience, scalability, and high availability of data centres, cloud environments, and backup / disaster recovery systems
- Managing the IT Service Desk and support functions to ensure effective L1-L3 support coverage
PROFILE
Bachelor’s degree in Information Sciences, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or similar subject, ideally with a master’s degree10 years’ minimum experience in IT infrastructure and operations, with at least 5 years in a managerial positionDemonstrable experience managing infrastructure contracts, renewals, RFPs, and vendor governanceStrong track record managing NOC / SOC operations and IT operations in large, multi-site enterprisesExperienced in leading IT service desks and support functionsCertified and / or training in : ITIL Foundation / Intermediate, Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or equivalent, Microsoft Certified : Azure Administrator / Architect, VMware Certified Professional (VCP), and CISM, CISSP, or equivalent (advantage)Strong leadership, people management, and organisational skillsExcellent knowledge of IT infrastructure technologies (networking, servers, cloud, data centres, CCTV, Wi‑Fi, etc.)Excellent spoken and written communication skills in English#J-18808-Ljbffr
