IT Operations & Infrastructure Manager, Qatar

Linumis Consult’s client is a major organisation in Qatar. They are urgently seeking an IT Operations & Infrastructure Manager to join their team in Doha.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Managing the company’s end-to-end IT infrastructure and operations environment, ensuring high availability, resilience, and security across all sites
• Overseeing servers, data centres, networks, connectivity, cloud environments, CCTV, Wi‑Fi, and all IT assets
• Leading IT infrastructure, service desk, and support teams, and managing vendors, service providers, contracts, and RFP processes.
• Overseeing NOC and SOC operations, vendor SLA governance, infrastructure contract renewals, and budget planning, ensuring operational excellence and business continuity
• Leading, managing, and developing multi-disciplinary teams including infrastructure engineers, network / system administrators, NOC / SOC staff, IT service desk analysts, and field technicians
• Overseeing the design, implementation, monitoring, and optimisation of IT infrastructure
• Ensuring resilience, scalability, and high availability of data centres, cloud environments, and backup / disaster recovery systems
• Managing the IT Service Desk and support functions to ensure effective L1-L3 support coverage
