Overview
Halian is hiring a Consultant - Bid Management for a permanent position in Doha, Qatar.
Responsibilities & Qualifications
- Excellent command of Arabic and English (spoken and written).
- Experience in the GCC market is mandatory.
- Minimum 8–10 years of overall IT / Technology experience, with at least 4 years dedicated to bid management in Managed Services (Service Desk, ITSM, Cloud / Infrastructure, SOC / NOC, Application Services, IT Outsourcing).
- Proven ability to write high-quality technical and commercial proposals in both languages.
- Strong understanding of SLA frameworks and ability to translate them into contractual and operational commitments.
- Ability to package Managed Services offerings into structured service catalogs, pricing models, and delivery frameworks.
- Ability to produce diagrams (service architectures, delivery workflows, SLA dashboards, etc.) using tools such as Visio, PowerPoint, Lucidchart, or similar.
- Ability to develop impactful presentations — both technical solution overviews and business / sales pitch decks.
- Strong analytical skills to evaluate tenders and highlight competitive positioning, risks, and compliance gaps.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple bids simultaneously.
- Strategic thinker with problem‑solving ability to bridge gaps between sales, technical, and delivery teams.
- Familiarity with IT governance and frameworks such as ITIL, COBIT, ISO 20000, ISO 27001, and cloud adoption frameworks.
