Halian is hiring a Consultant – Bid Management in Doha, Qatar (Permanent).

Role Overview

Seeking an experienced professional with 8–10 years of overall IT / Technology experience, including at least 4 years dedicated to bid management in Managed Services (Service Desk, ITSM, Cloud / Infrastructure, SOC / NOC, Application Services, IT Outsourcing). Must possess excellent command of Arabic and English (spoken and written) and a proven record of writing high‑quality technical and commercial proposals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Write high‑quality technical and commercial proposals in both Arabic and English.
  • Translate Service Level Agreement (SLA) frameworks into contractual and operational commitments.
  • Package Managed Services offerings into structured service catalogs, pricing models, and delivery frameworks.
  • Create diagrams (service architectures, delivery workflows, SLA dashboards, etc.) using Visio, PowerPoint, Lucidchart, or similar tools.
  • Develop impactful presentations – both technical solution overviews and business / sales pitch decks.
  • Evaluate tenders and highlight competitive positioning, risks, and compliance gaps.
  • Engage stakeholders at all levels with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Manage multiple bids simultaneously with strong organizational skills.
  • Bridge gaps between sales, technical, and delivery teams as a strategic thinker.

Qualifications

  • Excellent command of Arabic and English (spoken and written).
  • Experience in the GCC market is mandatory.
  • Strong understanding of SLA frameworks and ability to translate them into contractual and operational commitments.
  • Ability to produce diagrams (service architectures, delivery workflows, SLA dashboards, etc.) using tools such as Visio, PowerPoint, Lucidchart, or similar.
  • Strong analytical skills to evaluate tenders and highlight competitive positioning, risks, and compliance gaps.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple bids simultaneously.
  • Strategic thinker with problem‑solving ability to bridge gaps between sales, technical, and delivery teams.
  • Familiarity with IT governance and frameworks such as ITIL, COBIT, ISO 20000, ISO 27001, and cloud adoption frameworks.
